“Said and Done”

Her likeness scratched on a napkin,

her heart stuck on a spoon.

He misses her eyes.

This is all their fault.

Two widows,

trying to choose.

Pressed against each other,

behind the tattoo parlor.

Fire in their blood,

so nothing matters anymore.

In memories,

only one of them,

smiling.
